Our story

Gospel Tours India grew out of a single request: a parish in Kanyakumari District wanted to reach Jerusalem without worrying about a single detail. That first escorted departure set the standard we still work to — the itinerary is written before the price, the price is written before the brochure, and someone from our team is reachable at every hour the group is away from home.

Today we operate from a head office in Marthandam and a branch in Chennai. Our work splits into three desks that talk to each other daily: tours, which designs and escorts departures; ticketing, which issues fares directly as an IATA accredited agency; and documentation, which prepares visa files for consulates across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and the Americas.

How we work

• Written before spoken. Every quotation lists inclusions, exclusions and the payment schedule in writing, so nothing is discovered at the airport.
• Time to pray, not just to photograph. Holy sites are scheduled with room for worship, mass and reflection instead of a ten-minute stop.
• Documents handled in-house. Our own documentation desk builds your visa file, so checklists and appointments are never outsourced to a middleman.
• Paced for every age. Coach timings, walking distances and hotel locations are chosen with senior travellers in mind.
• One consultant, start to finish. The person who quotes your tour stays with your booking until you are home.

Where we take travellers

The Holy Land across Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt remains our flagship route. Alongside it we operate St. Paul's journey through Turkey and Greece, Marian and cathedral circuits in Europe, and leisure itineraries in the USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and the Far East. Church groups, prayer fellowships, families and corporate teams all travel with us, on scheduled departures or on dates built entirely around the group.

Accreditation and recognition

We are an IATA accredited agent, which lets us ticket directly on the world's major carriers, and we are approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, whose recognition requires our operations to be audited against national standards for tour operators. We also work within the Incredible India framework for inbound visitors travelling to Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
