About this journey

A grand Marian and Catholic pilgrimage combined with the best of Europe — Rome and the Vatican, Assisi, Venice, Mount Titlis, Paris, Lourdes, Santiago de Compostela and Fatima.

Day by day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Hometown - Rome

   Arrival at the airport, immigration and a short orientation tour. (D)

2. Day 2

   Rome

   Vatican City with the Papal Audience. City tour of Rome, Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica and the Colosseum. (B,L,D)

3. Day 3

   Rome - Assisi - Pisa

   Religious city tour of Assisi and the Papal Basilica of St. Francis, then Pisa and the leaning tower. (B,L,D)

4. Day 4

   Pisa - Venice - Padua

   Venice Island: San Marco Basilica, a glass factory and the Bridge of Sighs. (B,L,D)

5. Day 5

   Padua - Zurich

   The Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua, then on to Zurich. (B,L,D)

6. Day 6

   Zurich - Mt. Titlis - Zurich

   Cable car at Engelberg and the excursion up Titlis, plus a Lucerne orientation tour. (B,L,D)

7. Day 7

   Zurich - Paris

   Long distance coach to Paris. (B,L,D)

8. Day 8

   Paris

   Notre Dame Cathedral, a one hour Bateaux Parisiens cruise and entrance to the Eiffel Tower level 2. (B,L,D)

9. Day 9

   Paris - Lourdes

   Coach to Lourdes and the candlelight procession. (B,L,D)

10. Day 10

    Lourdes

    Full day at Lourdes with the Holy Dip and a visit to the Grotto. (B,L,D)

11. Day 11

    Lourdes - Gijon

    Cross into Spain and proceed towards Gijon. (B,L,D)

12. Day 12

    Gijon - Santiago de Compostela

    Guided city tour of Santiago de Compostela. (B,L,D)

13. Day 13

    Santiago - Fatima

    Transfer to Fatima, Portugal. (B,L,D)

14. Day 14

    Fatima - Madrid

    Proceed towards Madrid, Spain. (B,L,D)

15. Day 15

    Madrid - India

    Transfer to Madrid International Airport. (B)

16. Day 16

    Arrival

    Arrival back in India.
