About this journey

Follow the missionary footsteps of the Apostle Paul through the Seven Churches of Revelation, Ephesus, Patmos, Corinth and Athens — a study pilgrimage through Turkey and Greece.

Day by day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Chennai - Istanbul

   Assemble at Chennai International Airport. Welcome to Turkey. Evening visit to the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market, and a Bosphorus cruise. (D)

2. Day 2

   Istanbul

   The magnificent Topkapi Palace and St. Saviour in Chora. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul. (B,L,D)

3. Day 3

   Pergamum

   Fly to Izmir, drive to Smyrna, visit Mount Pagus and the Church of St. Polycarp. Continue to Bergama for the Church of Pergamum. (B,L,D)

4. Day 4

   Pamukkale

   Thyatira, then Sardis and the Temple of Artemis. Proceed to Philadelphia. (B,L,D)

5. Day 5

   Kusadasi

   Hierapolis and Laodicea, then drive to Kusadasi on Turkey's Aegean coast. (B,L,D)

6. Day 6

   Kusadasi

   Ephesus, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, and the House of Mother Mary. (B,L,D)

7. Day 7

   Kusadasi - Athens

   Private ferry to Patmos Island with a guided tour, then the overnight ferry to Piraeus (Athens). (B,L,D)

8. Day 8

   Kalambaka

   Corinth and its ancient ruins, Lechaion and Cenchreae, then departure for Kalambaka. (B,L,D)

9. Day 9

   Athens

   The spectacular Meteora monasteries; afternoon departure to Athens. (B,L,D)

10. Day 10

    Athens - Chennai

    Panoramic tour of Athens — Syntagma Square, House of Parliament, Olympieion and Areopagus. Transfer to the airport. (B)

11. Day 11

    Arrival

    Arrival back home.
